Cadets are allocated a comfortable room in the barracks which is shared by no more than four cadets. The rooms include dedicated internet access for each cadet, a lounge area and ensuite bathroom. For recreational activities there is a recreation room complete with video games, table tennis and other activities. There is also a TV room. In addition there is a barber, laundry service, supply room and IT lab. Parents are encouraged to visit so there is a Visiting Parents Area for this purpose. Cadets are supervised over night by military personnel (TACs). The rules, regulations and routines for the barracks are established early in the year so as to ensure that all cadets are cared for and aware of their rights and responsibilities.
