Are you a military school? Basically we are not a military school; however we have a Leadership Programme which aims to build character, promote discipline and develop Leadership capacity and ability as well as to foster self respect, courage. What cadets' ages do you accept? We accept students aged 11 - 16 years old; Grades (6 - 12). May overseas cadets stay in the campus during weekends? Yes, overseas cadets may stay in the academy during weekends, an additional weekend programme is offered for all overseas cadets. How can parents communicate with the school? There is an active Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Newsletters and SMS messages inform parents of special events and school happenings. Parent-Teacher Conferences are held throughout the year. What academic programme is offered? QLA is accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB World School) offering the IB Diploma Programme. How much is the fees? The fees are QR 45,000 for Grades (6 - 10) and QR 50,000 for Grades (11 - 12). How can I pay the fees? Please download the fees form from here. Do you have scholarships? Graduates from Qatar Leadership Academy will have enhanced opportunities to further their education through many international universities, including those present in the Education City of Qatar Foundation (such as Carnegie Melon; Weil Cornell; Texas A and M; Georgetown to name few). What are the admission requirements and procedures? The completion and return of the application form is the first step in the admission procedure. All the applicants should meet the school requirements by passing the admission tests in Arabic, English, mathematics, then a fitness test and a personal interview. To pass the enrolment tests in Arabic, English and Mathematics, then a fitness test and a personal interview, upon completing the tests QLA has the right to select the best candidates depending on the number of positions available.
